Beginning on July 30, 2016 and running until January 2017, the Florida Holocaust Museum, St. Petersburg, FL, is reprising the exhibition Women of Ravensbrück, Portraits of Courage: The Artwork of Julia Terwilliger. This exhibition was originally created for the museum by Dr. Rochelle G. Saidel, curator, through Remember the Women Institute in 2001. The exhibition has special meaning this year because a local resident, Richard Ohlsson, is coordinating an effort to bring to the United States one of the Red Cross White Buses that rescued survivors from Ravensbrück and brought them to Sweden in spring 1945. Learn more about bringing the White Buses to the United States.
